Modern consumer units use devices such as RCDs and RCBOs, which can disconnect power quickly when certain faults are detected, helping to protect people and property.
Where appropriate, we recommend the right combination of protection for your property.
Assessment first
An electrician should always assess the existing installation before recommending an upgrade. We test the circuits so any existing faults are identified and dealt with properly — and we won't recommend unnecessary work.
